About The Position

A Quality Facility Services is looking for a reliable and experienced Janitorial Supervisor to oversee evening cleaning operations at our Florence, Kentucky facility. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can manage a cleaning team, maintain high quality standards, communicate effectively with employees and clients, and ensure the facility is clean, safe, organized, and ready for the next business day. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable leading a team, and willing to step in and help with cleaning when needed.

Requirements

• Previous janitorial, commercial cleaning, or facilities experience preferred
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with inventory, scheduling, or labor-hour management is a plus
• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
• Stable work history preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily janitorial operations during the 2nd shift
• Lead, train, and coach cleaning staff
• Conduct daily team huddles and communicate important updates
• Inspect completed work and perform final walk-throughs
• Correct quality issues and make sure company standards are met
• Ensure employees have the supplies, equipment, and tools they need before starting their shift
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and help control waste
• Track labor hours and work with management to stay within budget
• Address employee and client concerns professionally and promptly
• Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and professional facility
• Perform hands-on janitorial work when needed
• Communicate changes to schedules, policies, procedures, and client expectations
• Hold employees accountable for attendance, performance, quality, and productivity
• Identify employees with leadership potential and help develop them for advancement
• Work closely with the Area Manager to meet client expectations and company goals
• Help improve cleaning processes and overall team efficiency
