About The Position

Guardian Professional Services is seeking a consistently hard-working Janitor/Custodial Specialist based out of Orlando International Airport who is committed to reliable quality service and customer relationships. We are looking for someone who is energetic, detail-oriented, motivated, and able to work independently or in a team. As a valued member of the Guardian Professional Services Team, you will provide a safe and clean environment to various airline passengers. We are seeking a motivated, friendly team member who will perform general cleaning duties in designated areas as needed. This is a great opportunity to work for our fast-growing company! We are currently recruiting experienced Janitorial Staff.

• Maintain all types of floor areas through the process of stripping/refinishing hard surface floors and shampooing carpeted areas.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes after emergency spill clean-up requests.
• Change Shampoo to Extracts.
• Inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair, reporting all problems to the supervisor.
• Shampoo assigned carpeted areas.
• Maintain all assigned equipment, keep equipment clean and in good repair, report all problems and suggestions to the supervisor.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety and sanitation regulations, reporting problems to the shift supervisor.
• Remove all soil, wax, and sealer from assigned hard-surface floors.
• Uses chemicals and solutions as directed by Tech Manual.
• Empty waste baskets and replace liners as needed.
• Sweep and spot mop tile floors.
• Complete damp mop tile floors.
• Dust/clean cleared desks and surfaces of tables.
• Must keep janitor’s closet neat and orderly.
• Equipment (such as vacuums) must be properly maintained at all times.
