About The Position
This is a great opportunity for someone with janitorial experience who is ready to take on a leadership role in a professional, high‑visibility downtown environment. The Janitorial Shift Supervisor is responsible for performing cleaning duties while also leading and supporting the on-site janitorial team. This role ensures that all tasks are completed according to the cleaning scope and quality standards.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of janitorial or supervisory experience
- Ability to lift 35 lbs repetitively
- Must pass the background, drug screen, and E-Verify
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Ability to work as a working supervisor (hands‑on role)
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties: trash removal, dusting, restroom cleaning, vacuuming, and other tasks assigned by the Manager
- Supervise and guide employees during the shift
- Coordinate with team members to complete special tasks
- Assist the Manager in ensuring all areas meet required cleaning standards
- Maintain clear communication with staff and management
