About The Position

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, this role is responsible for the supervision of all site personnel and assistance with the daily cleaning and maintenance of rest area facilities and grounds. The Assistant Site Supervisor actively works to improve their site and coaches staff to perform at their best. They perform the essential duties and responsibilities of an Attendant or Supervisor while performing each role. They proactively seek assistance from the Site Supervisor when needed. This role involves regular inspections of restrooms and common areas for sanitation, cleanliness, order, malfunctioning equipment, and safety. The Assistant Site Supervisor cleans and maintains restroom buildings (interior and exterior) and all areas of the grounds, including picnic areas, parking lots, and pet rest areas. Cleaning activities include wiping, mopping, sweeping, sanitizing, vacuuming, dusting, litter removal, and trash cleanup. They also perform minor maintenance of facilities, such as changing light bulbs or filters, and identify areas needing maintenance, repair, or replacement, working to correct any issues. The role includes greeting customers and assisting them with questions or concerns, informing the Site Supervisor of hazardous environments, and assisting in correcting issues. A teamwork environment is fostered where mutual collaboration, idea sharing, and problem-solving from every level are encouraged. The Assistant Site Supervisor ensures a safe working environment is established and maintained, creates, opens, and updates work orders with Insight as needed, and completes all required documentation and administrative tasks on a daily basis, such as minor repair logs and PM logs. They understand and can navigate basic computer programs like Word, Excel, and Adobe. The position promotes a culture of safety to reduce accidents and injuries and fosters a positive working environment where teamwork is the basis of all work performed. The role is performed in a professional manner with a strong work ethic, leading by example. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to lead, manage and direct employees.
  • Must be computer literate (i.e. Microsoft Office)
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the maintenance and/or repair of buildings or other structures.
  • Ability to multi-task and complete assigned duties efficiently.
  • Professional appearance and manner.
  • Must be able to manage a variety of personality types without exhibiting stress.
  • Knowledge of applicable OSHA standards.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises, manages, and directs Rest Area Attendants, Lead Attendants, and sub-contractors under the general guidance of Site Supervisor / Area Manager primarily when the Site Supervisors is not on site, unavailable or as directed.
  • Assists in the training of Site Staff.
  • Acts as Supervisor in the absences of the Site Supervisor or as directed by management.
  • Is scheduled as Site Supervisor on off shifts or weekends.
  • Assists with creating and maintaining employee work schedules.
  • Is secondary emergency site contact for client.
  • Performs regular inspections of rest rooms and common areas for sanitation, cleanliness, order, malfunctioning equipment and safety.
  • Cleans and maintains rest room buildings (interior and exterior) and all areas of the grounds to include picnic areas, parking lots, pet rest areas, etc.
  • Performs minor maintenance of facilities such as changing light bulbs or filters, etc.
  • Identifies areas within the facility and grounds that need maintenance, repair, or replacement and works to correct any issues.
  • Greets customers and assists them with any questions or concerns.
  • Informs Site Supervisor of any hazardous environments and assists in correcting any issues.
  • Creates a teamwork environment where mutual collaboration and idea sharing and problem solving from every level is encouraged.
  • Ensures a safe working environment is established and maintained.
