About The Position

The Janitorial Services Technician cleans and maintains a VA clinic in Conway, New Hampshire. The role is part-time, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., with no weekend work and paid holidays. The listed salary is $28.42. Duties include cleaning clinic entrances, lobbies, reception areas, hallways, offices, group rooms, kitchens, and restrooms; replenishing clinic supplies; managing trash and recycling; and maintaining floors, carpets, furniture, fixtures, windows, and ventilation areas. The technician also keeps cleaning tools and the supply room neat and informs a supervisor when supplies are low or repairs are needed.

Requirements

High school diploma.
At least one year of janitorial experience.
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
OSHA knowledge.
Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, reaching, lifting, and moving objects up to 20 pounds.
Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Clean entrance doors, lobbies, reception areas, hallways, offices, group rooms, kitchens, and restrooms.
Refill toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other clinic-provided supplies.
Empty trash and recycling bins, replace liners, and take cardboard to the dumpster.
Sweep and mop hard floors with hospital-approved disinfectant; wax and buff floors as needed.
Vacuum carpets and floor mats; steam clean or shampoo carpets as scheduled.
Clean and disinfect restroom sinks, counters, toilets, and floors, as well as kitchen counters and sinks.
Dust and clean desks, tables, cabinets, phones, shelves, picture frames, and light fixtures.
Clean windows inside and outside, blinds, and other window coverings.
Remove wall marks and cobwebs; dust and vacuum heating and cooling vents.
Vacuum fabric furniture and wipe down plastic and leather furniture.
Keep cleaning tools and the supply room neat.
Notify the supervisor when supplies are low or repairs are needed.
