This role is responsible for performing cleaning of all non-GMP areas including offices, cubicles, meeting rooms, facility main entrances & corridors, cafeteria/break rooms and restrooms, locker rooms, windows, doors, and walls. The technician will operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffing machines, and carpet extractors. Responsibilities include the cleaning and storage of equipment, accurate and timely completion of non-GMP checklist logs, preparation of cleaning solutions, maintaining supplies and work areas, receiving and storing supplies, reporting equipment repairs, flushing and documenting safety showers and eye washes, disposing of trash and waste properly, and assisting in maintaining inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies. The role also requires working in a safe manner, reporting potential safety issues, and performing all tasks in accordance with Janitorial best practices for cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, and mopping following checklist guidelines and site policies/requirements. The position is in a Penicillin Facility, requiring the candidate to not be allergic to Penicillin and undergo allergy testing. The role involves bending, reaching, lifting, and standing for extended periods, and requires corrected 20/20 vision. The department operates on a two-shift basis, five days per week, but the technician must be available for extended hours and six to seven day operations if required, with overtime potentially being necessary.
