About The Position

The Ft Jackson Janitorial Services Manager oversees the planning, executing, and tracking of Ft Jackson CDC/SSI Custodial Services Contract. The SM serves as the focal point for the Ft Jackson Custodial contract, with full operational autonomy for contract execution and provides decisive leadership to direct efforts, assess performance, and take needed actions relating to daily operation of the contract. Additionally, the SM will be available and present on-site during normal duty hours and be available for the Government for phone calls after duty hours. The SM continues to support the Ft Jackson mission, proactively solves problems, and delivers quality services safely in the performance of the PWS.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in quality control and assurance.
  • Experience in Health, Safety and Environmental.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Projects.
  • Must be able to work on secure military facilities.
  • Must have current valid driver’s license and clean driving record and be qualified to operate a vehicle.
  • Must be able to pass a DoD background check, pass drug screening tests

Nice To Haves

  • Must possess advanced custodial knowledge of Government contract.
  • Must possess knowledge of Green Cleaning procedures, practices and methods.
  • Must have knowledge in processing Work Requests, cleaning schedules and supply ordering.
  • Ability to provide detailed reporting, briefing, and technical advice to the Government regarding PWS requirement.
  • Must be an excellent communicator and have fair judgement.
  • Must be able to attend Government conferences, as required.
  • Must be a multi-tasker.

Responsibilities

  • Primary liaison with Government officials & serves as a central point of contact for all contract-related work.
  • Review, update and establish procedures to ensure safe, effective, and consistent levels of performance are within directives and contract guidelines.
  • Oversee overall operations & custodial, making improvements recommendations.
  • Direct supervision of all functional areas of the project.
  • Responsible for overall scheduling and supply procurement, creates flexible schedules for personnel and equipment to support the mission.
  • Interface internally with site personnel to establish and maintain high team morale by creating a culture of involvement, inclusion, collaboration, and recognition.
  • Provides monthly reports to appropriate Government personnel.
  • Ultimately responsible for satisfying all contractual commitments on time and within budget.
  • Manages the entire contract staff through subordinate managers and leads.
  • Identifies and request any corporate resources necessary to meet contractual obligations.
  • Providing resources to ensure the success of the QMS.
  • Communicates routinely with the KO, COR, or designated representatives, ensuring contract terms are being met and our customer is satisfied.
  • Routinely informs Tunista Leadership of progress, accomplishments, and challenges.
  • Ensures emphasis on safety, environmental compliance, and quality of operations.
  • Treats all employees with dignity and respect with a genuine concern for their morale, safety, health, and welfare.
  • Compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistics activities.
  • Responsible for overall performance of all aspects of the project and provides direct client interface.
  • Provides operational oversight to ensure tasks are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Ensures compliance through thorough awareness of employee compliance with all applicable company and client directives, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinates all activities involving client, their customers, and other outside organizations and company functions.
  • Ensures adherence to standard concepts, practices, and safety procedures.
  • Provides expertise advise to customer, when requested.
  • Be on duty at the worksite and available for contact with the Government.
  • Attend briefings, conferences, and other Government designated meetings.
  • Apply experience and judgement to pan and achieve goals effectively.
  • Ensure successful completion of tasks on a timely manner basis and budget.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Timely completion and accuracy of all inspections and work.
  • Works closely and harmoniously with other employees.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
