About The Position

City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to join their team. This role is responsible for assisting with the management of contract compliance for building maintenance services and supporting the relationship between City Wide and their Independent Contractors. The position offers a full-time, second shift opportunity with a focus on quality assurance and process management within the building maintenance industry.

Requirements

• High school diploma required or equivalent experience in commercial janitorial services industry.
• 2-3 years prior experience in management; coaching, motivating, developing other individuals.
• Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be innovative and strive for continuous process improvement.
• Qualified applicants must have reliable transportation and provide proof of continuing vehicle insurance.

Nice To Haves

• Building, facilities, janitorial or similar industry experience a plus!
• Bilingual capability would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain productive, working relationships with Independent Contractors (IC) by communicating client priorities and collaborating on solving problems.
• Review scope of work and ensure quality assurance per account to retain existing business and gain new business.
• Communicate with your Manager daily for any issues that need immediate attention, including the nightly recap.
• Make recommendations for IC work assignments, manage to client standards and company guidelines and recommend actions.
• Manage inspections, customer complaints or requests, new account starts-restarts.
• Execute City Wide’s New-Start Policy, Customer Compliant Policy, Four Star Policy, and other policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance by ICs with authorized, approved cleaning tools and equipment and their proper use.
• Other duties as necessary.
