About The Position

This is a Part Time Daylight Porter position in the Shady Side/Pittsburgh Area. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness of the building during working hours of occupants. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 4 hours per day, from 7 am to 11 am, with an hourly salary of $17.00. Responsibilities include policing all cafeteria and kitchenettes, stocking paper products in lavatories, cleaning and disinfecting toilets, and ensuring common areas are kept to standard. The job also involves moving heavy trash receptacles and cleaning up emergency spills as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Police all cafeteria and kitchenettes hourly
• Wipe clean counters and sink
• Wipe clean tables
• Remove trash/boxes to designated area, flatten boxes
• Clean up any spills, including floor spills
• Sweep
• Police all men’s and women’s lavatories
• Stock all paper products
• Clean countertops
• Spot clean mirrors
• Pick up paper from floor
• Clean and disinfect toilets as needed
• Remove unsightly marks from walls and partitions
• Clean fronts of doors to remove hand marks
• Police reception area as needed, including cleaning of entry door glass
• Keep all common space up to standard
• Cleanup emergency spills as necessary
• Provide any special tasks as directed by client
• Keep elevator flooring clean as well as fingerprint free on panels and doors
• Keep steps or stairwells swept down and clean
• Moving Heavy Trash Receptacle
