About The Position

Marsden South has an immediate opening for a Bilingual Janitorial Supervisor! Join an essential company to service the buildings and facilities in your community. Learn new, practical skills and gain experience with on-the-job training. This role involves driving between multiple locations to perform cleaning inspections, train new personnel, and ensure quality standards are met. The supervisor will also be responsible for ensuring associates are properly trained, fostering a culture of safety, and managing employee and client relationships.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 35-50 lbs.
• Driver's License and a good driving record.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
• Must be able to start training immediately.
• 18 years of age or older.
• A pre-employment criminal background check is required.
• Previous Lead/Supervisor experience in Janitorial Role a must.
• Previous experience of cleaning procedures and practices.
• Good time management.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication.
• Strong employee and client focus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Drive between multiple locations to perform cleaning inspections.
• Train new personnel.
• Complete regular quality inspections of assigned clients.
• Ensure all associates are properly trained at each assigned account with a focus on long-term retention.
• Build a culture of work safety and lead by example with one's own safe behavior.
• Treat co-workers with respect and approach conflict with positive intent and professionalism.
• Ask questions to understand why we do what we do and how we do it - champion change when improvements can be made.
• Stocking and replenishing supplies.
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times (such as locking doors, using proper chemicals and reporting incidents).
