Requirements

• 5+ years of management experience
• Efficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams

Nice To Haves

• Facility service, janitorial route work or similar service-based/multi-site related experience preferred
• Experience working with a diverse population

Responsibilities

• Provide operations leadership to service and oversee janitorial route work in the greater Detroit area.
• Deploy strategies to maintain a strong customer relationship and increase associate retention by creating a highly engaged workforce with a culture focused on teamwork and safety.
• Manage evening and weekend operations, customer engagement, and drive special sales within the account while driving safety improvements.
• Drive Leadership, Engagement, Growth and Safety strategy to leadership and associates.
• Manage area managers and site supervisors to ensure customer expectations and agreed upon KPIs are met.
• Onboard and ensure new associates feel welcomed in their first week and receive adequate training.
• Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively. Take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy. Consult with human resources as appropriate.
• Advise Area Managers on labor issues including safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training, grievances, etc.
• Ensure supervisors are adhering to company policy and administering practices in a fair and equitable manner.
• Keep safety a top priority: Provide near miss reporting and drive process improvements by identifying near misses and completing safety audits.
• Provide nightly reporting of site performance to management.
