About The Position

Aramark is currently seeking a Janitorial Manager for the James Bay region. This position is located in Baie-Comeau and requires the ability and willingness to travel or work long rotations away from home. The work schedule involves 14-day rotations, with most days during the camp stay being 10 to 12 hours long. Transportation is by plane from Montreal or Quebec City airport, and Aramark will reimburse expenses to the airport. Meals and accommodation at the camp are provided at no additional cost.

Requirements

Must be comfortable with computers and familiar with MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, consumers, colleagues, and staff.
Must be able to work as part of a team.
Must be organized.
Must be physically fit.
Must have a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

Experience in remote camps is an asset.
WHMIS (SIMDUT) certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, motivate, and develop teams to maximize their contributions by providing evaluation, training, coaching, and performance management.
Supervise employees, ensuring that everyone clearly understands the objectives to be achieved.
Lead and supervise activities related to campground maintenance.
Ensure a safe and healthy environment for customers, consumers, and employees.
Train and develop supervisory staff to become future leaders.
Perform administrative tasks, participate in scheduling, and provide support to managers.
Maintain a clean and orderly environment to promote the safety and health of others.
Clean assigned areas in accordance with Aramark and customer standards and requirements.
Prepare and share compliance reports with the client and internally.
Conduct regular inspections of kitchens, food storage areas, dining rooms, and storage areas.
Verify compliance with MAPAQ and HACCP standards and internal policies.
Comply with established safety regulations.
