About The Position

The Janitorial Maintenance team member helps maintain a clean and welcoming travel center. The role includes cleaning the store, showers, and restrooms; handling shower towels; performing general store repairs and maintenance; and removing trash. The position also provides excellent guest service by keeping facilities well maintained. Team members may have opportunities to train for and gain experience in other roles at the travel centers and restaurants.

Requirements

• Be a highly motivated self-starter.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds and walk or stand most of the day.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, days, weekends, and holidays.

• Experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment and ability to fix small problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store.
• Clean showers and restroom facilities.
• Wash, load, and unload towels for showers.
• Perform general repair and maintenance of the store.
• Pick up and remove trash throughout the travel center.
• Provide excellent guest service through well-maintained facilities.
