About The Position

The Janitorial Maintenance team member maintains the cleanliness and general upkeep of the store and travel center. The role includes cleaning showers and restrooms, handling towels, removing trash, and providing excellent guest service by keeping facilities well maintained. Team members may also have opportunities to train for other roles within the travel centers and restaurants.

Requirements

• Be a highly motivated self-starter.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk or stand for most of the day.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, days, weekends, and holidays.

• Experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment and ability to fix small problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store.
• Clean showers and restroom facilities.
• Wash, load, and unload towels for showers.
• Perform general store repairs and maintenance.
• Pick up and remove trash throughout the travel center.
• Provide excellent guest service through well-maintained facilities.
