About The Position

The Inspector – Janitorial Operations is a frontline execution and quality assurance role responsible for verifying that daily janitorial/landscaping services are delivered in strict accordance with the Pritchard Operating Playbook, safety standards, and customer expectations. The Inspector provides disciplined, on-the-ground oversight through inspections, audits, safety observations, and detailed reporting—ensuring leadership has accurate, real-time operational visibility. While not responsible for staffing or corrective discipline decisions, the Inspector plays a critical role in identifying gaps, reinforcing standard work, and escalating risks quickly. This role serves as a key link between frontline service teams and the Supervisor, ensuring consistency, accountability, and service excellence across assigned sites.

Requirements

  • A current and driver’s license is required
  • Prior supervisory experience in janitorial or facility services operations required.
  • Strong working knowledge of cleaning processes, safety standards, and workforce management.
  • Ability to lead frontline teams with clarity, accountability, and consistency.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with timekeeping systems, inspections, and operational reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily and routine inspections of janitorial services across assigned sites.
  • Verify that all scope-of-work tasks are completed to Pritchard quality standards.
  • Document inspection findings clearly, including deficiencies, trends, and corrective needs.
  • Perform follow-up inspections to confirm corrective actions have been completed.
  • Maintain inspection readiness at all times.
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategies for increasing productivity and maintaining quality.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and ensure quality processes align with current standards.
  • Conduct documented safety observations and inspections during site visits.
  • Identify unsafe conditions, behaviors, or hazards and report them promptly.
  • Monitor employee adherence to PPE and safe work practices.
  • Assist in documenting incidents, near misses, or injuries per established procedures.
  • Report building deficiencies or environmental hazards affecting safe operations.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times on customer sites.
  • Observe and report customer concerns, feedback, or special service requests.
  • Participate in customer walk-throughs when directed by the Supervisor.
  • Reinforce Pritchard’s service standards through professional interactions.
  • Other duties as needed by company
