About The Position

Embark on a new career journey as an Espey Janitorial Facilities Technician, where you’ll support the production of transformers and power supplies used in military and industrial applications. In this hands-on role, you'll ensure our facility remains clean, safe, and well-maintained—providing essential support to both production and administrative teams. Your reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety will directly contribute to our ability to deliver high-quality, mission-critical products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work full-time with a consistent schedule
• Physically capable of performing job duties, including: Standing and walking for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, or crawling as needed, Lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs, Using hands and fingers to handle tools and materials, Reaching, climbing ladders, and maintaining balance
• Must be able to reliably commute to Saratoga Springs, NY 12866
• Must be willing to relocate prior to starting work, if not local

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in janitorial or general maintenance roles
• Ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
• Remove trash and recycling; ensure proper disposal
• Refill supplies (e.g., soap, paper towels, toilet paper)
• Perform periodic deep-cleaning tasks as needed
• Perform light maintenance duties as assigned
• Support upkeep of facility grounds and infrastructure
• Operate cleaning and light maintenance equipment safely
