About The Position
The Janitorial Day Porter performs a variety of cleaning duties across assigned facilities to maintain a clean, safe, orderly, and sanitary workplace. The role supports a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors. It may suit someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and maintain hygiene standards.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste according to company policies.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
- Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
