About The Position

This role provides custodial services at a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Only members of the Church who are endowed and have a current temple recommend qualify for employment in this specific position. The Janitorial Cleaner cleans and maintains buildings and facilities, helping ensure a clean, safe, sanitary, and orderly environment. The role requires flexibility to complete assigned tasks and effective communication with clients, coworkers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers. The listed pay is $18.00 per hour; a specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Requirements

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain buildings and facilities.
Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and maintain hygiene standards.
Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
Notify managers or supervisors of repair needs, maintenance issues, safety hazards, and supply shortages.
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, coworkers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
Follow safety procedures and comply with safety, security, compliance, quality, cleaning, and sanitation standards established by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
Remain flexible and complete all assigned tasks.
