About The Position

The Janitorial Cleaner cleans and maintains buildings and facilities, helping ensure a clean, safe, orderly, and sanitary environment across assigned facilities. The role contributes to the appearance and sanitation of the workplace and to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors. The cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete assigned tasks, communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, and follow company, client, and regulatory safety, security, compliance, and quality standards. This position provides custodial services at a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. To qualify for this specific position, applicants must be members of the Church, endowed, and hold a current temple recommend. The posted pay is $18.00 per hour; the specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data. Requirements

Applicants for this temple position must be members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, be endowed, and have a current temple recommend.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain buildings and facilities.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and maintain hygiene standards.
Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste according to company policies.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, supply shortages, and the need for minor or major repairs to the supervisor or managers.
Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
Follow safety procedures and all applicable company, client, and regulatory safety, security, compliance, quality, cleaning, and sanitation standards.
Complete all assigned tasks flexibly and reliably.
