About The Position

We are seeking a dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaner to maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming banking environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining office areas, lobbies, meeting rooms, restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas while adhering to high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

Requirements

• Previous janitorial experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to follow safety procedures and cleaning protocols
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment (25-50 lbs)
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks
• Ability to safely operate standard cleaning equipment
• Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize countertops, cupboards, tables, and chairs using germicidal cleaners
• Clean exterior and interior surfaces of appliances
• Clean sinks and chrome fixtures
• Arrange furniture in an orderly fashion
• Clean sinks and fixtures when areas are free of dishes and personal items
• Restock paper towel and soap dispensers as needed
• Spot clean doors, door handles, and door frames
• Clean and sanitize drinking fountains
• Remove trash from all receptacles
• Vacuum all carpeted areas and entrance mats
• Dust surfaces, furniture, and fixtures
• Spot clean desks, counters, and other surfaces
• Sweep hard floors with a dust mop
• Damp mop all hard surface floors
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance throughout all customer and employee areas
• Clean and disinfect countertops, toilets, urinals, sinks, and other fixtures
• Clean and polish mirrors
• Dust and wipe clean all dispensers
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
• Clean and polish all metal fixtures and finishes
• Spot clean walls and stall doors
• Dust surfaces and vents as needed
• Restock paper products, soap, and other restroom supplies
• Maintain restroom cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the shift
