About The Position
The Janitorial Cleaner performs cleaning duties at a site in Ashville, Ohio. The position is part-time, Monday through Friday, with either a six-hour shift or two three-hour shifts available. Work can take place between 2 PM and 11 PM and must be completed by 11 PM. Pay is $16 per hour. A $250 sign-on bonus is available after 30 days, contingent on good attendance and quality work. Several evenings of training and ongoing coaching are provided as needed. The cleaner must be able to work independently and contribute to a positive team climate by maintaining a pleasant attitude, wearing a uniform, and being dependable and punctual.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently.
- Good attendance and quality work to qualify for the sign-on bonus.
- Wear required personal protective equipment: steel-toed boots, a long-sleeve T-shirt, hard hat, safety vest, goggles, and ear plugs.
- Ability to wear a backpack vacuum weighing 8–12 pounds for approximately 30–60 minutes.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds non-repetitively.
Responsibilities
- Mop, sweep, dust, and vacuum.
- Clean restrooms and breakrooms.
- Take out the trash.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Contribute to a positive work climate and overall team effort.
- Wear a uniform and be dependable and punctual.
