About The Position
The Janitorial Cleaner performs cleaning duties at a location in Ashville, Ohio. The position is part-time and offers either a six-hour shift or two three-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Work may begin as early as 2 PM and must be completed by 11 PM. Pay is $16 per hour. A $250 sign-on bonus is available after 30 days, contingent on good attendance and quality work. Several evenings of training and ongoing coaching are provided as needed. The role requires working independently while contributing to a positive team climate through a pleasant attitude, wearing a uniform, dependability, and punctuality. Required personal protective equipment includes steel-toed boots, a long-sleeve T-shirt, a hard hat, a safety vest, goggles, and earplugs. The hard hat, safety vest, goggles, and earplugs are provided; steel-toed boots are reimbursed up to $50 with a receipt after 90 days.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently.
- Pleasant attitude, dependability, and punctuality.
- Ability to wear a backpack vacuum weighing 8–12 pounds for approximately 30–60 minutes.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds non-repetitively.
- Wear required PPE, including steel-toed boots and a long-sleeve T-shirt.
Responsibilities
- Mop, sweep, dust, and vacuum.
- Clean restrooms and breakrooms.
- Take out the trash.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Work independently and contribute to a positive work climate and overall team effort.
- Wear the required uniform and PPE, and be dependable and punctual.
