About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties across assigned facilities and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment. The role supports the overall appearance and sanitation of the workplace and helps provide a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors. The listed pay is $15.00 per hour; a specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data.

This role may be suitable for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and handle waste in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
