About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties and maintain clean, safe, and orderly assigned facilities. The role supports the appearance and sanitation of the workplace and helps create a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors.

This role may suit someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Previous janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning experience is a plus. Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and meet hygiene standards.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste according to company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
