About The Position

ABM is hiring a reliable and experienced Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties across assigned facilities. The role helps maintain the appearance, cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of the workplace, contributing to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors. The posted pay rate is $17.50 per hour; a specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data. The shift is 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. ABM describes this as a suitable job for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste according to company policies.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
Follow safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
