About The Position
As a Janitorial Cleaner, you will keep the Roanoke Public Library welcoming. Our ideal janitor or custodian teammate takes pride in building upkeep. Key duties include general cleaning, dusting, vacuuming building areas, pulling trash and recycling to keep spaces tidy, cleaning restrooms thoroughly to uphold top sanitization standards, using your reliable personal transportation to travel effectively to the library, and handling other standard cleaning duties as requested by your supervisor.
Requirements
- 1 year of cleaning experience
- A valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 35 lbs repetitively
- Must own reliable personal transportation to guarantee timely arrival for shifts.
