About The Position
As a Janitorial Cleaner, you will be responsible for keeping the Roanoke Public Library welcoming and clean. Our ideal teammate takes pride in building upkeep. Key duties include general cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, pulling trash and recycling, and thoroughly cleaning restrooms to uphold top sanitization standards. You will also use your reliable personal transportation to travel to the library and handle other standard cleaning duties as requested by your supervisor.
Requirements
- 1 year of cleaning experience
- A valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 35 lbs repetitively
- 1 year of commercial cleaning, janitorial, or custodian work.
- Must own reliable personal transportation to guarantee timely arrival for shifts.
Responsibilities
- General cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming building areas.
- Pulling trash and recycling to keep spaces tidy.
- Cleaning restrooms thoroughly to uphold top sanitization standards.
- Using your reliable personal transportation to travel effectively to the library.
- Handling other standard cleaning duties as requested by your supervisor.
