We are seeking a full-time Night Shift Janitorial Associate Supervisor who is passionate about creating clean, organized, and safe environments for our clients. You’ll be responsible for supervising and maintaining cleanliness throughout your assigned client site while working with a supportive team that values excellence and integrity. Shift: Monday – Friday | 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM Pay: $26.00 per hour The Janitorial Associate Supervisor is a working supervisor role responsible for both overseeing janitorial staff and performing cleaning duties at assigned customer sites during each shift. This position requires leading by example, ensuring quality service standards are met, and actively participating in daily cleaning operations. The Janitorial Associate Supervisor must be able to supervise the work activities performed by our janitorial staff, including scheduling staff shifts, monitoring staff attendance, reporting absences, and conducting staff performance reviews. Supervisor will also provide recommendations to management regarding employee promotions, transfers, disciplinary actions, and dismissals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound knowledge of commercial cleaning methods, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication and leadership abilities. This role requires balancing supervisory responsibilities with hands-on cleaning duties to ensure all assigned locations are serviced effectively and on schedule.

Physically capable of standing and performing physically demanding tasks for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Access to reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Supervising and coordinating the daily work activities of janitorial staff.
Performing janitorial services at assigned customer sites during each shift.
Assigning janitorial duties to staff and regularly inspecting completed work to ensure established quality standards are met.
Monitoring staff attendance and reporting absences or scheduling concerns.
Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to janitorial staff as needed.
Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and notifying management when replenishment is required.
Assisting with the recruitment, screening, and hiring of new employees.
Providing training, coaching, and ongoing guidance to janitorial staff.
Resolving employee conflicts and addressing performance concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and customer requirements.
Responding to service issues and assisting with special cleaning projects as needed.
Maintaining accurate records and communicating operational updates to management.
Ultimately, the Janitorial Associate Supervisor will demonstrate effective leadership while actively contributing to daily cleaning operations, ensuring the timely completion of janitorial duties and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
