At The Budd Group, we are a premier facility services company dedicated to delivering excellence, and we are looking for an exceptional Janitorial Account Manager to lead our operations at a prestigious manufacturing plant. In this high-profile role, you will act as a strategic partner to our client, proactive solution-finder, and operational rockstar. This role is ideal for someone who loves the quiet focus of the night shift and the thrill of keeping a major manufacturing powerhouse running seamlessly. As our Facilities Operations Manager, you will be the premier face of our organization on a major manufacturing campus. In this role, the Facilities Manager serves as the primary point of contact for the client's Director of Facilities.

Requirements

  • Proven facilities supervisory or management experience (large commercial campuses preferred).
  • Basic computer literacy in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Proven facilities supervisory experience, preferably within large commercial or industrial, manufacturing campus environments.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) for professional reporting.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and pass an MVR background check to safely operate the company truck.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, impeccable professional boundaries, and a deep understanding of corporate diplomacy.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an absolute, professional chain of command with the client's facilities leadership.
  • Use Microsoft 365 to generate highly detailed daily and weekly operational reports, complete with photo documentation.
  • Manage, mentor, and oversee a dedicated team of approximately 28 direct W2 employees & 8 Supervisors, cultivating a culture of strict accountability and professionalism.
  • Act as the primary liaison and manage professional relationships with nightly service partners and subcontractors.
  • Conduct routine quality control inspections to ensure standard-setting cleanliness for restrooms, floors, trash removal, and overall presentation.
