About The Position

The Janitorial Account Manager is responsible for overseeing all cleaning and maintenance operations within a shopping mall environment. This role ensures high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction while managing janitorial staff, vendor relationships, and client expectations.

Must be able to order and maintain inventory of cleaning products and equipment
Must be able to coordinate with external vendors for specialized cleaning or maintenance services
Must be able to ensure equipment is maintained, repaired, or replaced as needed
Must ensure all staff follow OSHA and company safety policies
Must maintain proper documentation for safety, incidents, and compliance
Must conduct safety training and enforce safe work practices

Responsibilities

Oversee daily janitorial operations including interior and exterior cleaning, restrooms, food court areas, and common spaces
Ensure compliance with cleaning schedules and quality standards
Conduct regular inspections to maintain a clean, safe mall environment
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise janitorial team members
Monitor performance and provide coaching, feedback, and disciplinary actions when needed
Ensure proper staffing levels for peak and off-peak hours
Serve as the primary point of contact for mall management and tenants
Address concerns, complaints, and service requests in a timely and professional manner
Maintain strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
Implement and maintain cleaning standards and procedures
Perform routine audits and inspections
Ensure use of proper cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals
Ensure all staff follow OSHA and company safety policies
