About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Janitorial Team Member to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of custodial, janitorial, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
• Experience operating floor scrubbers, sweepers, and forklifts.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow all health and safety regulations per Terex policies.
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Operate floor scrubber and sweeper to maintain the facility floors.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service and supply restrooms.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Prepare cleaning solutions according to established procedures and specifications.
• Follow proper procedures when using chemical cleaners and powered cleaning equipment to prevent damage to floors, fixtures, and equipment.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Process trash removal and corrugated scraps with a compactor.
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
