About The Position

Connect Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Janitor for a large warehouse facility in Riverside, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $18.05/hr, Monday through Friday starting at 4:00am. In this role, you will clean and sanitize bathrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas throughout a large active warehouse. This is an early-morning shift with a consistent weekly schedule and overtime available.

Requirements

6+ months of recent janitorial experience in a warehouse or industrial environment.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to frequently lift up to 10 lbs.
Ability to work at a fast pace.
Steel toe boots required (employee-provided).

Nice To Haves

Experience cleaning facilities with multiple shift changes or 24-hour operations.
Familiarity with commercial cleaning chemicals, dilution ratios, and proper labeling (OSHA Hazard Communication / GHS standards).
Experience using commercial floor cleaning equipment such as mops, wet-dry vacuums, or auto scrubbers.
Prior work in distribution centers, manufacturing plants, or large logistics facilities.
Ability to manage a solo cleaning route with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

Sweep and mop office and warehouse floors, removing tracked-in dirt from areas near active warehouse zones.
Empty trash receptacles and restock supplies in bathrooms, breakrooms, and shared spaces.
Coordinate cleaning of high-traffic areas around shift changes to minimize disruption to warehouse operations.
Maintain a consistent cleaning schedule so all shared spaces stay safe, clean, and ready for use throughout the day.
Follow facility cleanliness standards and safety procedures at all times.
