About The Position

This role involves performing janitorial duties in various environments, including outdoor locations and marine vessels. The position requires the ability to work in conditions without climate control and navigate challenging terrains. Key responsibilities include material transport, operating equipment, and performing tasks at heights.

Requirements

• Balance and strength to climb 40 ft.
• Ability to perform repetitive forward bending, rotation of the trunk, and flexing of the hips and the knees.
• Ability to lift no greater than 50 lbs. from floor to 6 ft. work surface unassisted.
• Ability to perform repetitive upper extremity movements while cleaning.
• Work is outdoors or marine vessels.
• No air conditioning or heating.
• Uneven surfaces throughout job site, with sand, limestone, concrete, and railways outside, as well as concrete and railways inside.
• Numerous trip hazards throughout.

Responsibilities

• Enter and work in internally confined spaces.
• Manipulate and transport loads up to 25-35 pounds, approximately 6 times during each 8-hour shift.
• Act as a courier to deliver material to job sites.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Traverse and negotiate uneven heights between dock and vessel.
• Traverse and negotiate uneven surfaces.
• Ascend and work at heights of up to 40 feet.
• Push a lawnmower and operate a weed eater.
