About The Position

National Star Services, a facility management company with 28 years of nationwide service, is seeking Janitors for its Des Plaines, IL 60018 location. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and organized work areas and enjoy an active shift. The position involves cleaning and sanitizing various areas within the facility, floor maintenance, waste removal, and ensuring supplies are restocked. The schedule is for the 2nd Shift, Monday through Sunday, from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, with two days off during the week and required weekend availability. The starting hourly pay is $17.50, with biweekly pay.

Requirements

• Bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Slip-resistant shoes required
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform physical work and lift as required
• Available to start as soon as possible

Nice To Haves

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchens, production areas, restrooms, and break rooms
• Sweeping, mopping, and maintaining floors throughout the facility
• Removing trash and recycling and ensuring proper disposal procedures are followed
• Cleaning tables, workstations, and equipment surfaces
• Restocking cleaning supplies as needed
• Reporting maintenance concerns or safety hazards
• Helping maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready facility
