About The Position

Goodwill of Colorado is seeking a Janitor to perform specific assigned janitorial duties on-site at the assigned location. This role is crucial for ensuring Goodwill's standards are met or exceeded.   • Access to CUI/FOUO should be limited to U.S. Nationals that have either a current U.S. security clearance (minimum interim SECRET clearance) or have been the subject of a favorably completed National Agency Check with Inquiries (i.e. Standard Form (SF) 85 Position of Trust investigation) or equivalent investigation (i.e. contractor equivalent).

Nice To Haves

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • One (1) year of janitorial experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team.
  • Sweep and mop floors.
  • Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces.
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces.
  • Vacuuming/Shampoo clean carpets.
  • Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
  • Mix various cleaning agents.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
  • Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean.
  • Apply wax to coat floors and buff.
  • Stripping and top scrubbing floors.
  • Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
  • May move heavy items such as furniture.
  • Identify and report possible repairs.
  • Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours.
  • Help provide a safe working environment for you, customers, and fellow employees.
