About The Position

The Janitor is responsible for ensuring all areas of the facility such as but not limited to: maintenance, production, and shipping, restrooms, lunchroom, driveways, parking areas and grounds surrounding the facility to ensure a safe work environment.

• Proven experience operating equipment (lawn mower, weed eater, and floor sweeper/scrubber, forklift) if required.

Responsibilities

• Attend all scheduled safety, department, and company meetings as required.
• Follow and enforce company safety polices and safe work practices at all times to ensure safety of self and others
• Maintain clean inside and outside work areas
• Empty barrel and trash containers
• Maintain office floors, restrooms, and breakrooms
• Perform other janitorial services as needed
• Operate equipment and tools for seasonal activities as necessary.
• Inventories cleaning supplies and notifies appropriate personnel when re-orders are needed, being mindful of time allowance needed in ordering process.
• Immediately notify a supervisor for any equipment issues as occurrences happen.
