About The Position
The Janitor at Bren-Tronics, part of EnerSys and manufacturer of advanced power solutions, maintains a clean facility in order to create a comfortable and safe work environment. Certain positions at EnerSys Advanced Systems require access to information or technology that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and other U.S. government security regulations. Candidates for these positions should be a “U.S. Person” under ITAR (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or a refugee/asylee) and/or otherwise comply with ITAR requirements for access rights to be considered for a position. Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 1+ year of cleaning experience
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasions.
- Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Responsibilities
- Clean bathrooms daily including toilet and floor, refill the supplies (Paper towels, soap, tissue).
- Place cleaning supplies back in their designated area.
- Sweep floors and dust for each department daily.
- Clean kitchen areas including tables and removing expired and leftover trash from refrigerator.
- Sweep and mop hallways, entrance, and Cafeteria areas daily.
- Vacuum offices weekly and check wall, vent grid for accumulation of dust, if dirty clean properly.
- Dispose of all garbage from waste baskets from each department.
- May remove stains from surfaces as walls, floors, rugs using cleaning solutions.
- Pick up garbage, debris from outside parking lot.
- Other tasks as assigned.
