About The Position

Fortis Native Group LLC is interviewing for a Janitor position for their new FAA contract. The successful candidate will be required to travel between 2-3 sites using their personal vehicle and will be compensated for mileage.

Requirements

• Must pass a stringent Federal Background Check and drug screen results.
• Must meet eligibility requirements for access to government computer systems and or facilities.
• Must be able to perform tasks such as moving, carrying, and storing items.
• Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, reach, etc. as required for cleaning.
• Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions.
• Must be able to work with a team.
• Must be reliable and willing to perform assigned daily tasks.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain bathrooms using specific procedures and products.
• Dust, polish, and wipe furniture.
• Empty and wash garbage bins and deal with recycling procedures when necessary.
• Help when setting facilities for meetings, events, or classrooms.
• Properly use and maintain power equipment and tools to maintain safety.
• Secure building and doors when they are not in use.
• Following instructions regarding chemical use and safety hazards in the workplace.

Benefits

• Health & Welfare - $5.09 an hour - up to 40 hours a week to pay for benefits (any unused monies are applied directly to your paycheck.)
• compensated for mileage
