About The Position

We’re excited to announce that we’re actively hiring for a Janitor position at our Arlington, TX plant! This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained work environment. The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning various areas of the plant, including restrooms, floors, furniture, and equipment, as well as assisting with production tasks when needed.

Requirements

At least 1 year Janitorial/Custodial experience; OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, techniques, and standards.
Skill in safely using cleaning products and equipment.
Skill in following verbal and written instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively with management and other employees.
Ability to communicate in English.
Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Sweeps and mops floors in rooms and halls
Dusts and/or polishes furniture, blinds, and equipment
Cleans restrooms and fills dispensers
Vacuums, spot cleans, and/or shampoos rugs, carpets, and furniture using commercial-type vacuum cleaners and shampooing equipment
Reports malfunction of bathroom fixtures, light fixtures, and/or damages to room and hall furnishings to superior
Stocks area with appropriate supplies
Initiates work orders for repair/maintenance
Moves furniture, equipment, or fixtures as required
Washes dishes or utensils as required
Helps production prepare and package client products as required
Performs other duties as assigned
