About The Position

The Facilities Group National is seeking a responsible Janitor to service a warehouse for a large clothing retailer in Perris, California. The janitor position performs custodial work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas, and other building interiors, ensuring customer satisfaction, meeting goals, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Some experience or knowledge of cleaning processes and equipment
• Some English and Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.)
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as needed
• Perform buffing, stripping, and waxing duties, as needed
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects, as needed
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Use personal protective equipment correctly
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Adhere to location appearance guidelines
• Act with a sense of urgency
• Show initiative regarding job functions and accept new responsibilities
• Timely completion of all assigned tasks
• Reporting and program deadlines are met
• Make timely and sound decisions
• Produce quality work within pre-set time frames
• Other duties as assigned
