About The Position

This is an on-call janitorial position requiring a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail. The role involves maintaining 95% standards of cleanliness within assigned tasks at the Hemet location. Candidates should be qualified janitors/cleaners. The position requires the ability to use various cleaning products, chemicals, vacuums, mops, and floor machines, as well as equipment like ladders. The employee will be responsible for reporting fires, hazardous conditions, and items in need of repair.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience of progressively responsible housekeeping/sanitation or other work that applies knowledge and skills to perform the position
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to pass background checks & drug test
• Must be physically able to perform all duties and tasks in the statement of work
• Shall be free of communicable diseases

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of janitorial methods, practices, materials, tools, occupational hazards, and safety precautions of the janitorial work.
• Qualified janitors/cleaners with a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Live in the Hemet area.

Responsibilities

• Follow all rules and regulations relative to entering and leaving the building.
• Utilize cleaning products, chemicals, vacuums, mops, wringers, dust tools, and floor machines.
• Use equipment such as ladders.
• Report fires, hazardous conditions, and items in need of repair, such as dead lights, leaking faucets, toilet stoppage, etc.
• Empty & Clean Wastebaskets
• Clean, Disinfect & Polish Water Fountain
• Replenish Supplies
• Clean & Sanitize
• Spot Cleaning
• Vacuum all Carpets
• Sweep & Mop all Hard Floors
• Wipe Clean All Window Blinds and Sills
• Interior Windows
• Shampoo Carpets
• Strip/Scrub/Rinse/Wax, Buff & Seal Floors
• High Dust & Clean
• Follow established procedure methods for handling and mixing chemicals

Benefits
