About The Position
Janitorial Team Members are responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary restaurant during each shift. They provide dependable, fast service and contribute to a safe and welcoming environment. The role includes daily sanitation and deep cleaning of the restaurant, floors, bathrooms, and grounds; proper trash disposal; working with management to address maintenance needs; safely handling cleaning chemicals; monitoring cleaning supplies; and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, laws, and health and safety standards. Other related duties may be assigned by management.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use mops, chemicals, and cleaning equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily sanitation and deep cleaning of the restaurant, floors, bathrooms, and grounds.
- Empty and properly dispose of all trash.
- Work with the management team to address maintenance needs inside and outside the restaurant.
- Handle cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines and procedures, including safe use, storage, and disposal.
- Alert management when cleaning supplies need to be reordered.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, applicable laws, and health and safety standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the management team.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
