As a Janitor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of our facility. Requirements
- Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Professional, friendly, and respectful demeanor when interacting with residents, families, and team members.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull equipment, and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness throughout resident rooms, common areas, offices, hallways, and other facility spaces.
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces and adhere to infection prevention and control protocols.
- Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and other waste appropriately.
- Assist with laundry-related duties as needed.
- Support event setup and breakdown for resident activities and facility functions.
- Monitor facility areas for cleanliness, safety hazards, and maintenance concerns.
- Report repair needs, equipment issues, and safety concerns promptly.
- Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.
