About The Position

The Janitor position involves performing all janitorial functions for the Modineer Company. Responsibilities include daily cleaning of restrooms, break areas, manufacturing, and office spaces. The role also entails general clean-up and maintenance of the parking lot and exterior areas, material handling duties, and driving the company van as needed. Employees are expected to follow standard work instructions and practice safe work habits to ensure efficient and safe production.

Requirements

• Position requires recent Material Handling experience.
• Current Modineer forklift license or the ability to pass the licensing requirements
• Must be able to perform all required Modineer production system documentation such as production reports, inspection reports, etc…
• Good Attendance.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Must be able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of restrooms, break area, manufacturing and office areas on a daily basis.
• General clean-up and maintenance of the parking lot and all exterior areas of the Plant.
• Material handling duties as assigned.
• Driving the Company van as needed.
• Operating the Floor Scrubber on the off-shift when production is minimized.
• Emptying trash bins throughout the facilities.
• General clean-up of offices (I.e. vacuum, emptying trash, dusting, cleaning windows, etc…).
