About The Position

This position will report to the Supervisor and is a Non-Exempt, Full-Time Regular role. The pay range is $16.90 - $17.50. Requirements

  • Knowledgeable in basic math skills.
  • Able to use the equipment and tools available to safely perform the job in all assigned areas of the facility.
  • Have a good understanding of basic chemical interactions and common precautionary procedures and actions.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to drive a golf cart.
  • Must complete all safety and food awareness training.
  • Must have High School/GED or six months to one year experience in a related field or a combination of both education and experience.
  • Candidates must have a verifiable history of safe vehicle operation and meet company standards for driving eligibility, including maintaining a clean driving record, which will be verified through a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, sanitize, and neaten common and office assigned areas of the facility in a timely manner, according to schedules and in emergency and non-emergency situations.
  • Observe all safety regulations and ensure all GMP and quality standards are met and maintained.
  • Obtain work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations.
  • Perform a safety check on equipment to be used in daily operations and ensure all safety devices are functioning properly.
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors of common areas of buildings, using cleaning solutions, tools, and equipment.
  • Clean or polish walls, ceilings, windows, equipment, and building fixtures, using steam cleaning equipment, scrapers, brooms, and a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Clean restrooms, fixtures, stalls, floors, and walls using solvents, brushes, rags, and power cleaning equipment.
  • Refill paper towel dispensers, replace tissue rolls, fill liquid soap dispensers, and air fresheners.
  • Clean and vacuum office area floors, dust furniture, water plants, clean coffee area, and replace light bulbs.
  • Gather and empty trash from all office and common areas and place in proper receptacles.
  • Perform minor routine painting, plumbing, electrical, maintenance, and related activities.
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
  • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
  • Requisition supplies and equipment used in cleaning and maintenance duties and store in proper areas.
  • Notify management personnel concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
  • Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, etc., for events, meetings, and social functions.
  • Move items between departments, manually or using a hand-truck or carts.
  • At the end of the shift, secure all equipment, complete all required paperwork, and perform general housekeeping and clean-up.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
