About The Position

The primary function of the Janitor position is to maintain a clean facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks. The individual will perform cleaning throughout the plant, with specific responsibilities to include office areas, breakrooms, and multiple bathrooms. This will include cleanliness of all employee restrooms, employee breakrooms, common areas, and offices as designated by management. Additionally, it will involve basic trash removal from outside areas of the building, including the patio area, smoking area, and all common areas surrounding the facility.

Requirements

• Prior experience cleaning in a manufacturing or hospital setting.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Proven ability to react to business needs.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to always maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to use all janitorial equipment and dispense chemicals after being trained.
• Two to four years prior experience in a janitorial position.
