About The Position

This role is for a 2nd Shift Janitor at the Wilson Sporting Goods Co. Mount Juliet Distribution Warehouse. The position involves supporting the maintenance of the facility and its warehouse equipment through semi-skilled functions. Requirements

Previous experience as a Janitor or a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of warehouse equipment and machinery.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and their proper usage.
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety.
Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds, regularly.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and leadership.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to work the 2nd shift work schedule: Monday through Friday 3:00pm to 11:30pm CT.
This position requires schedule flexibility, as dictated by business demand and available resources including overtime at times.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Ability to count accurately and efficiently.
Ability to focus on details.
Accuracy is a must.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
Ability to operate a manual pallet jack.

Responsibilities

Participates in the daily activities and operations of the Mount Juliet Distribution Warehouse.
Performs semi-skilled functions that support the maintenance of the facility and its warehouse equipment.
Cleans and maintains designated areas of the warehouse, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and break areas.
Empties trash bins and recycling bins regularly.
Conducts routine inspections to identify safety hazards and reports them to the appropriate personnel.
Coordinates with external vendors for maintenance and repairs.
Assists with warehouse-related tasks as needed.
Follows health and safety regulations.
