About The Position

Participates in the daily activities and operations of the Mount Juliet Distribution Warehouse. Under limited supervision, performs an array of semi-skilled functions that support the maintenance of the facility and its warehouse equipment; and performs related duties as assigned. Clean and maintain designated areas of the warehouse, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and break areas. Empty trash bins and recycling bins regularly. Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards and report them to the appropriate personnel. Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance and repairs. Assist with warehouse-related tasks as needed. Always follow health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Janitor or a similar role is preferrred.
Knowledge of warehouse equipment and machinery
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and their proper usage.
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety
Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds, regularly.
Ability to establish and effective working relationships with staff and leadership
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to work the 2nd shift work schedule: Monday through Friday 3:00pm to 11:30pm CT.
This position requires schedule flexibility, as dictated by business demand and available resources including overtime at times
Must be 18 years or older
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
Ability to count accurately and efficiently
Ability to focus on details. Accuracy is a must.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
Ability to operate a manual pallet jack
