About The Position

Assist production and support teams by maintaining good housekeeping and ensuring a safe work environment. The role involves cleaning offices, restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, and the shop, as well as managing waste and cleaning supplies. The position may involve working independently or during off-hours.

Requirements

• Have an acceptable safety and attendance history.
• Contribute a positive and productive attitude.
• Be self-motivated.
• Understand proper chemical handling, dilution ratios, and the use of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Consistently maintain high standards of cleanliness and identify areas that require attention.
• Manage time effectively and follow a daily checklist without constant supervision.
• Have the physical stamina to stand for long periods, bend, and lift moderate weights, such as trash bags or supply boxes.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in commercial or industrial janitorial work.
• Familiarity with professional cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-touch and routine cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.
• Clean the shop, both inside and outside.
• Empty trash cans and hoppers.
• Monitor and restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and cleaning agents.
• Maintain a safe workspace by using wet-floor signs, properly labeling and storing cleaning chemicals, and following health and safety protocols.
