About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Janitor / Maintenance Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for our customers and employees. This role is responsible for custodial services, basic facility maintenance, building repairs, and grounds upkeep to ensure bank facilities remain well-maintained, functional, and welcoming. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and work independently to support the bank's daily operations. Must be available to work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00am to 11:00am. Additional hours are possible, depending on season or project work.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous janitorial, custodial, maintenance, handyman, or related experience preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning methods, maintenance practices, tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties, including walking, standing, bending, climbing, and working indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of bank facilities, including offices, lobbies, restrooms, common areas, and exterior grounds.
Perform routine janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation.
Complete basic maintenance and repair tasks, such as changing light bulbs, minor painting, repairing fixtures, and addressing facility needs.
Monitor building conditions, identify safety or maintenance concerns, coordinate repairs, and maintain necessary supplies.
Assist with seasonal and facility-related projects, including snow removal, landscaping support, furniture moves, and preventative maintenance activities.
